Entries are now open for the seventh national Community Radio Awards, sponsored by PlayoutONE, and the submission deadline is the 30th of June. First Honours presented at the Community Radio Awards
This year’s Community Radio Awards also saw the first national honours awarded. Launched earlier this year to honour those who have provided outstanding or exceptional service to Community Radio, the process involved a written nomination and additional letters of support from the Community. 2021 Community Radio Awards recognise the best of the nation
The best of Community Radio has been rewarded in a face-to-face event once more. Hosted in Coventry, the UK City of Culture 2021, the 2021 Community Radio Awards were invited to the city, and delivered in conjunction with their team. The shortlist for the 2021 Community Radio Awards has been revealed. Returning to an in-person event, this year the awards take place in Coventry, in partnership with Coventry UK City of Culture 2021. The Community Radio Awards Ceremony and Community Radio Conference will be taking place on the 23rd of October in Coventry. The awards, which are sponsored by PlayoutONE for the second year running, celebrate stations up and down the country at the heart of their communities.
