    Recipients announced for the 2019 Community Radio Awards

    More than 50 projects have been recognised at the 2019 Community Radio Awards. Hosted outside England for the first time, the event in Barry, Wales, attracted an audience of 150 volunteers and staff from a range of stations. Continuing the tradition, the event was hosted by last year’s Female and Male gold recipients Julie Donaldson and Mark Jarvis.     The 2019 Community Radio Awards will be coming to Barry, South Wales, in October. The awards will run at the Memo Arts Centre, on Saturday October 26 – after the ‘Community Radio Now and Next’ conference.
