How does it work?

The awards submission is set to open in May 2017, and will be open for around 6 weeks.

All current Ofcom licensed Community Radio Stations will be eligible to enter as many submissions to the categories as they wish, this also means that volunteers can submit their own entries. Exception, the Podcast and Community Radio Station (non-licenced) are open to non-Ofcom licensed stations or organisations who are members of the CMA. (NOTE only 1 Station of the Year entry per station).

Submission material, content and audio should have been broadcast or relevant to the last 12 months.

Submissions will cost £5 each, this is a low price to help cover the administration and awards process, but we hope that is accessible to all community stations and their volunteers / staff.

Once submission window has closed the submissions will be sorted and sent to the judging panel.

We hope to announce 5 finalists for each category over the summer with an awards ceremony in September.
