We are still finalising the time table of the event, so these times are to be confirmed however.
The event is due to start with a drinks reception from 5:30pm with the venue opening at 6pm, we hope to start serving the food at 6:30pm with the awards ceremony starting at 7pm. We aim for the ceremony to not last more than 2 hours, and ideally we need to be out of the venue after 9:30, however we looking at heading to the student union pub the Eagle and Bull a 3 minute walk to continue the celebrations late into the night (although there has been talk of a post awards curry as well).
Location and travelling to the awards:
The awards are taking place in the “Shell” in the Parkside Building in the City Centre Campus of the Birmingham City University. NOTE this is the same building as the location for the Community Media Conference.
